I live in the US and a lot is going on right now with our new political administration. In the spirtual community there is much talk about 3D, 4D, 5D etc worlds, realms… Often times when folks talk about this, I get a sense, some people aren’t quite clear in what they are talking about. Some consider these realms a place. Others, parallel times. And even smaller numbers a level of consciousness, where one can move in and out given the frequency we, as humans, hold. I resonate with the latter category and yet I struggle even in this pseudo understanding because of the binary thinking nature, most people talk about or couple with it. Instead of approaching life as a both/and, all things exist and can be contrary and paradoxical, many spiritual leaders talk about the notion that if we raise our frequency to the highest vibration in love and light, we then are connecting to the highest spiritual point of our God consciousness.

POLITICS/PEOPLE/SPIRIT

I agree with this and I think in moments of great uncertainty, pain, confusion, chaos, we could still be residing in our highest vibratory potential. The idea of highest vibratory potential is we are not phased by all the things surrounding us. And to be clear not being phased, doesn’t mean we aren’t concerned or don’t care. It means we love see grace all around, but we don’t let the fear mongering, anxiety, and harms impact our hearts to the degree we spiral in fear, anxiety, and start harming ourselves and others.

So going back to the new administration. They are doing what all politics do: assert their control and manipulative power over people. Unfortunately, this administration is in retrograde, where the government conditioned rules for certain people to have less rights and be devalued as humans. Whatever your “beliefs” are about gender and people’s “rights, to create laws and regulations to control people is harmful. But what I find more terrifying is in certain spiritual communities, some leaders are scared to talk about such things, considering the talking or paying attention of such things is “below their high vibrations of love and light. I get it. If we think in binaries and this or that, we of course will behave this way. We can’t possibly think that Spirit, God, the Universe “cares” of such trivial things such as politics?! Yet the root word of politics, is “citizen” or “pertaining to the state.” The root of citizen is “city/town” and can even go as far as being defined as “private person” or “freeman.”

I interpret then politics as of the people. Citizenship and State are modern words of division. People create States. We create laws that “regulate” who is and who is not a citizen. We even have gone as far as creating laws in the not so distant past of who is a “free” person under the law. All over the world in cruel, extremely inhumane, and not so cruel, our ancestors enslaved humans. So, if politics, people, citizenry, statehood, gender, our bodies are not a spiritual matter, then what is? If how we treat each other is not spiritual, than what really is spiritual? Binary thinking of what is high or low vibration, is the same thinking of control and manipulation. If I am to be or have this, I must take from that person and lie. We can’t have both things. I can’t be of high vibration and talk the nastiness of politics! Ha. It’s quite absurd, but I see it all day long.

We don’t have to get caught up in the soup of what is “right” for a state/city/country or what is “wrong” but when we have politicians dictating, how one can use their body in any given way that IS NOT HARMING ANYONE in the process- we need to bring Spirit in the conversation.

We need to bring in our inherent right as spirits having a human experience in the conversation. Call it politics, call it philosophy, call it spirituality. It all pertains to the ONE.

We are ONE. Within my scope of paradoxical understanding, apart of this human experience is to experience. Just that. A part of ourselves we might not remember or recall came here on this Earth to experience. Some of us do recall and others of us know exactly if these experiences were to focus in service to others or ourselves. In other words, do we veer towards infinite love of others to get to “God.” Or do we veer towards infinite love of ourselves…to get to God.

One involves care, kindness, grace, truth, compassion etc. The other, manipulation, control, constriction, harm. Neither is judged by the ONE. We as people judge. Some of us do the latter and actually are here to do the former. Some of us stay neutral, really not grasping our power.

We live in a dual world of paradoxical truths. We aren’t actually meant to fully understand the laws and limits of this world. We really are here to just live it and experience it…do want we want. And the funny caveat of that is, we get to experience the deepest emotions and feelings while we are at it. In the spiritual realms we aren’t but feeling love and connection. We could feel other things but at a moments notice it can change (as I understand it). We manifest quickly. Here we have this thing called “linear” time. We move slow. We feel deeply and it’s so illusory we don’t recognize our creative power in it.

A WAY FORWARD?

I feel the pain and sorrow. Despair, anger, fear, and anxiety for those suffering from this political parade. I also feel the manipulation and the provoking of fear and the hubris and power over the mental state. I feel the egoic addiction to power and ecstatic joy from that perspective. I also feel the numbness and weariness, the confusion and concern. I feel the stoic nature of neutrality of no feeling and self righteous pride, anger, and terror.

My feelings are a mix bag. To be clear, the above list of feelings aren’t mine, but I am feeling them nonetheless. I am mostly witnessing the show and working hard to contribute to a more harmonious “state” of affairs. Can multiple things exist without one attempting to control and manipulate the other?

Can spiritual communities talk of politics without fearing they are lowering their vibration and disconnecting from Spirit?

Will the tides change in our Earth experience whereby we won’t need to act so primitive and animalistic to relate with each other? Can we move away being so extractive, exploitative, and harmful to all things, including ourselves?

I think so.

Is spirituality apolitical? I think not. Is it political, i think not. It’s both and. And much much more. We are ONE.

I am ready to fully embrace the multiplicity and multitudes of our ONENESS with deep care, respect, and love. I am the drop in the ocean and the ocean. I can never be separate from the WHOLE.

Let’s embrace our dual nature, yet think in paradoxical multiplicities. It’s possible. Anything is possible. We must first embrace our power as creators and dream, think, act on our will and power to shift the tides of our ocean. Regardless of what we do, we may come back and play again and continue the game with rocks and swords, bombs and bullets, ignorantly harming ourselves or we will evolve and create relationships of another kind.

Can we even think about those other kinds of relationships? What would it look like? That’s the start:)
